And he went round about the villages, teaching.Luke 7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. It is amazing to me that individuals can think that a hundred years of life at most are important but that the vast ocean of eternity is not important. No matter how long we live on earth, God calls it “a little time.” Very few of us will live a hundred years, but we will all spend eternity somewhere. Eternity will never end. Each of us will spend eternity in God’s paradise or in eternal torment. Everyone is headed toward one or the other. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? |
